Made in the late Second Age at Emyn-nu-Fuin, these stones are now scattered throughout Arda. It is a 1/3 pound vibrant purple stone which glows upon command.
These stones always float in the air and must be within three feet of their owner to be any use. When the stone is used, it takes up a circling orbit one to three feet above the user's head. Thereafter, the stone must be grasped or netted to separate it from its owner. The owner may voluntarily seize and stow a stone to keep it safe, but loses the benefits of the stone during that time.
This particular stone is Vibrant Purple, and has the shape of a Prism.
This particular stone can store up to six levels of spells. Only a spell caster can imbue the stone with one or more spells, but anyone can activate the stone to be able to release the spells stored in the stone. The stone needs to be orbiting its owner to imbue the stone with spells or to release any stored spells. It can only store spells that can actually target the stone.
