When eligible new players party with established players, they do not add to the party-size XP penalty and the entire party receives an overall 10% XP increase.

Who counts as a new player

  • The account must be under 90 days old.
  • Dual-boxing accounts online at the same time can disqualify those characters as new players, regardless of account age.
  • Eligible new players are marked in-game with [Party XP Bonus] after their name.

Party XP effect

Normally, larger parties reduce each player's XP share. When at least one established player is grouped with at least one eligible new player, the XP calculation changes in two ways:

  • The XP formula ignores eligible new players when it calculates the party-size XP penalty.
  • The party receives one overall 10% XP increase.

The 10% increase does not stack if more than one eligible new player is present. If only new players are grouped together, normal party XP rules apply.

Normal XP rules still apply: level range, distance, area, and eligibility checks are unchanged.
