Rebuilding lets you rerun your character through the leveling process without giving up the experience you've already earned. This service is provided by the Houses of Healing in Minas Tirith.

Rebuilding your character

  • Your character is returned to level 1 while keeping the same total XP.
  • You must level back up manually after the rebuild.

What stays locked

  • Anything chosen at level 1 stays locked in.
  • That includes your race, alignment, first class, first-level feats, and similar first-level choices.

Cost

  • Cost formula: 500 GP x character level x (reincarnation tier + 1)
  • A non-reincarnate character counts as tier 0, so the cost is simply 500 GP per level
  • Example: a level 25 non-reincarnate pays 12,500 GP
  • Example: a level 25 first reincarnate pays 25,000 GP
