Rebuild lets you rerun your character through the leveling process without giving up the experience you already earned.

What rebuild does

  • Your character is returned to level 1 while keeping the same total XP.
  • You must level back up manually after the rebuild.
  • You can use the leveling facilities in the Houses of Healing to do that immediately.

What stays locked

  • Anything chosen at level 1 stays locked in.
  • That includes your race, alignment, first class, first-level feats, and similar first-level choices.

Cost

  • Cost formula: 500 GP x character level x (reincarnation tier + 1)
  • A non-reincarnate character counts as tier 0, so the cost is simply 500 GP per level
  • Example: a level 25 non-reincarnate pays 12,500 GP
  • Example: a level 25 first reincarnate pays 25,000 GP
