Campsite kits are the main way to rest in Lands of Arda. There are also some free rest areas in the world, usually marked by bedrolls, tents, or campfires.

- You can only rest by using campsite kits or by finding a free rest area.
- Campsite kits are sold by many merchants throughout Arda.
- Free rest areas also exist in some safe locations.
Campsite kits
Use a campsite kit to place a temporary campfire, then click the campfire to rest.

Each rest uses up one charge from that campfire. Once all uses are gone, the campfire disappears. Campfires are also removed automatically after about 5 minutes.
Free rest areas
- They are usually marked in-world by bedrolls, tents, or campfires.
- While you are in one, use the Rest button to rest normally.
- These give you another way to rest without using a campsite kit.
Restrictions
- You cannot start resting during or shortly after combat.
- You cannot place a campsite kit too close to a doorway.
