Created by Luingurth the Blademaster in the early Second Age, the golden-brown laen edge of the sword bearing its forger´s name and was one of the greatest weapons ever made and later returned in many forms throughout Middle-earh. After he turned to evil, Luingurth forged the Irgaak swords, which were able to summon the "Harvest of Fools". They were not of the same calibre as Beraingurth, however, and were eventually defeated, being no match for the Lord Blade of Cuivienen.
