Fashioned in elder days beneath the golden boughs of mallorn and beech, Lindëgil is a sling of unusual grace and deadly refinement. Its cords are woven of fine, silver-threaded hithlain, supple as silk yet strong as tempered steel. When drawn taut, the fibers shimmer faintly, as if catching light unseen by mortal eyes.
The cradle is formed from pale grey leather, said to be taken from a hart that roamed long under starlight. Its surface bears subtle runic tracery - not bold engravings, but flowing Sindarin glyphs worked into the stitching itself. These markings glow faintly in moonlight, and in silence one might hear a soft, almost musical hum when the sling is whirled.
Unlike crude mortal slings, Lindëgil is perfectly balanced. It requires little force to achieve deadly velocity. In skilled hands, its stones fly with uncanny precision, curving as if guided by unseen wind.
