Custom Spells

Caster Level(s): Druid 5, Wizard / Sorcerer 5 Innate Level: 6 School: Transmutation Component(s): Verbal, Somatic Range: Short Duration: Permanent or Special (see text) Save: Fortitude Negates; Will Partial Spell Resistance: Yes On a failed Fortitude save, the target is transformed into a chicken and must make a Will save. A failed Will save makes the transformation permanent. A successful Will save limits it to 1 Round / 2 Levels (minimum 1 Round). Spellcasters who succeed on the Will save retain spellcasting in a chicken appearance for 1 Round / Level, with ability penalties that reduce Strength to 3 and Dexterity and Constitution to 7, subject to normal ability-penalty limits and immunities. This applies to all spellcasting classes once they reach their first spellcasting level. Creatures with Wild Shape instead receive a normal chicken polymorph that they can cancel, regardless of class or Will save result. They cannot cast spells while in this form. A successful Will save limits this form to 1 Round / 2 Levels; a failed save makes it permanent until cancelled or removed. Removing or dispelling the spellcasting-preserving form's penalties also restores the target's previous appearance.
