Spell area-of-effect previews arrive, XP vault deposits above level 40 take a bigger penalty, and many boss drops, keys and doors are fixed across Angmar and Moria.
Added spell radius previews, so you can see a spell's area of effect before casting it. This only works for base NWN spells for now; custom spells will be supported in the future.
A floating message now appears above characters when equipped weapons/items are dropped to the ground due to lack of inventory space
Several friendly cities are explored by default again
Campsites now stay up during rest, and a bedroll appears too
With the lower penalty and partial deposits added a few updates ago, the XP vault could be used to "power level" past many of the early levels on a new character, particularly with reincarnate XP deposits. To keep the lower penalty and partial deposits instead of going back to 100%-only deposits, the following changes are now in effect:
Any XP deposited above level 40 is penalized at 75%. Any remaining XP below level 40 is still penalized at the standard 20%.
Reincarnate XP is now only multiplied into non-reincarnate XP on full (100%) deposits
Transition fixes for Lake Evendim and the White Mountains, Mor-sereg dungeon fixes, Rangers back at Weathertop, and Oathbreaker summons now unsummon properly.
Thirteen areas across Eregion, Rohan, Gondor and Enedwaith are reskinned, the Hall of the Mor-sereg opens in Angmar, and 17 music tracks are added or changed.
Caradhras and the High Pass are redone, Strider has a new quest, the Animus spells now raise Oathbreakers, and a new Recall Companions feat brings back stuck companions.
The undead summons for the epic spells Animus Blast and Animus Blizzard changed from vanilla NWN skeletons/wights to "Oathbreaker" summons, basically toned-down versions of Mummy Dust:
Each spell summons 1 per kill, up to a max of 5 per spell
Summons despawn on rest and death
All classes that can summon familiars, animal companions, summons, etc. now have a new (free) Recall Companions feat that teleports all of your companions to your location outside of combat. Useful when companions get stuck or left behind on certain transitions. Access it via the class radial menu.
Temporarily re-allowing 2 One Rings to be equipped at the same time. This will be disabled again in a future update, when the rings of power (including The One Ring) are rebalanced.
The Angmar Expansion reskins the region's outdoor areas and moves more dungeons into it, plus a new Weathertop model, music updates and a 600 MB smaller download.
The first patch notes we kept, builds v1002 to v1338, from the move to NWN: Enhanced Edition. Arda has been running since 2002, but older patch notes aren't available.
