Four new forge items, faster default movement, and the first NUI Quickslots. Plus capped death penalties, Paladin buffs, and smarter AI in the Yellow Mountains.
The default movement rate for all players has been raised, and is now effectively the same as boots of travelling/haste by default.
The movement speed cap for normal classes (non-monk) has been raised slightly, and they will still see a small (~10%) speed bonus from roads, boots, or haste.
Monk movement speed cap remains unchanged and still stacks with roads, boots, and haste.
New custom NUI Quickslots. They will open by default on your first login (on non-mobile devices). Afterwards, they will remember the open/closed state for each character.
Toggleable via the !quickslots command.
This initial version works with class, domain, and epic spells only. Items, feats, and other unique functionality will be added in a future update.
For the most part, the targeting should mimic spells as if used from the default quickslots. Please test and report any bugs or incorrect behavior!
Grace period for reduced death penalties increased from level 25 to 30 (non-reincarnate)
A cap of 20,000 gold has been set for the death gold penalty for non-reincarnates
A cap of 4,000 XP has been set for the death XP penalty (after any reincarnate adjustment)
A good number of mobs were incorrectly being scaled by the scalar script more than they should have been in Eriador and other regions. This is now fixed. More scalar script adjustments are coming soon to help with overall scaling and difficulty of mobs, particularly for newer and/or lower-level players.
Fixes for several "disabling" spells that had long durations, even after NPC death. The following should now expire at or shortly after caster death:
After a server reset, players being returned to their last location (e.g. logged back in shortly after a reset) will always be given temporary sanctuary, even if the area isn't explicitly marked as a "hostile" area.
Identify price lowered at more starting-area merchants
New database setup which should improve performance when loading/viewing storage via the journal.
This also lays the groundwork for player bank integration with the website. More details in the future!
The removal of spaces from several item names was previously causing some duplicate items to appear as separate entries. This is now fixed: if the only difference is whitespace, they will be grouped as the same entry.
Smaug and Camring (The Healer) now have a chance to spawn a Container of Arda on death.
